Vegetarian Mushroom Bolognese with Cacao

Ingredients:
- One large onion (chopped)
- Two cloves of garlic (minced)
- Two cups of mushrooms (chopped)
- One carrot (grated)
- One celery stalk (chopped)
- One can of crushed tomatoes (14 ounces)
- Two tablespoons of ceremonial grade 174 cacao
- One teaspoon of dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for sautéing
- Cooked pasta of your choice (to serve)
Procedure:
Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the onions and garlic until they’re golden and fragrant.
Add in the mushrooms, carrot, and celery, cooking until they soften.
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, cacao, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Let it simmer for about 20 minutes, allowing the flavors to mingle. Serve it over your
favorite pasta, and prepare for a comforting meal that’s surprisingly light.
